I have no homework!!!!
This is the first time in the past six weeks that I've had ABSOLUTELY NO homework. It's so awesome!
Updates: Angel and The Omitted as projects are officially out.
Not that I probably still won't work on Angel, it's just that it's so....frustrating at times.
Anyway, right now I'm reading Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (they didn't have the first one at the library). And also-I've decided to read Ella Enchanted again. Right now the books I REALLY REALLY want are Fairest by Gail Carson Levine and Ever After by Wendy Loggia (have memorized every line of the movie, but never heard of the book until today).
off to do something that has nothing to do with homework!

Urg...another optomitrist appointment.
I really hate them, even though they only happen about once a year.
And every year I get to learn more about how my eyes are getting worse and worse....
great. As if I don't already have problems.
Anyway, yeah. Just checked out a Harry Potter book from the library (L-I know you're excited about this one).
not much else to say...
except that my eyes are dialated...
and that I totally failed the Othello test (probably).

the title says it all. And even worse-our new project in art is drawing an orange. I have a particular affinity for apples, and would rather do that. But NO. It HAS to be an orange.
That's okay though, I'm always up to the challenge.
The Good News For Today:
I scored a big whoppin' FOUR on my practice SAT essay in English (okay, so a four is a pretty sad grade compared to a six, but before this I'd been getting solid twos; not even a three!)!!!!!!!!!!

The Bad News For Today:
Algebra and Physics homework, oh, and a US history assignment that I have no time to do. I'm pretty much giving up on that class-since I can't cope with the teacher or his teaching style. I guess that means that I'll have ANOTHER C. Gosh. The world sucks. And so does school.

Hola Ustedes o Vosotros,

Yesterday was my first official day at volunteer work. Not that I haven't ever done volunteer work in my life, but I just haven't done it for the Church bookstore. That's all.
It was pretty easy. All I had to do was burn a couple hundred of CDs (they had this big machine to do it-the only thing I had to do was pop the CDs into their freshly labeled cases after the computer TOLD me they were done; gosh, technology is takin' over the world). Also I had to copy some tapes of sermons on this tape-copying machine. It was really easy and only lasted about thirty minutes.
If only everything in life was that easy....
On that note, I have a new playlist for my story "Angel". It changes daily, especially since I just got some new CDs.
I won't give the whole thing away, but the theme song is...
Drumroll please...
Quasimodo by Lifehouse.
Boy do I love that song.

It's Friday-finally!
Not much to say except the physics thing has been settled. I'm not dropping the class, in fact, say my parents, I had never needed to drop it in the first place.
Yeah Freakin Right.
But oh well, I'll just get a C and there's nothing my parents can do about that.
But even worse-I'm going to have to live yet another year at home after highschool.
I hate this!!!
I so just want to go away and live somewhere else!
I hate living with my parents. I love them. But can't stand them.
At camp I was the only kid who didn't miss my parents.
In fact, both of the years I took camp I had a blast and missed it all of the rest of summer.
I know I need to get out of this house, even if it's only a meter or so away.
But oh well, I guess I'll just have to roll with the punches. I mean, what else can I do?

Finally something good happened!!
Today in art, it was time for the "critique" of our latest projects. The artist critique is really where some other people look at your drawing/sketch and tell you if it's crappy or not. Of course, the head commando is Ms. Waterman, who makes us partake in this dreadful experiemce just so we can tell whether our grade is an A....or something much more...interesting.
So anyway. My latest project is called "Conveniently Forgotten."
It's a sketch of a bunch of old, dirty plastic flowers (conjured up from the bat-infested art closet)drawn in a small picture plane. The real challenges in this drawing are the crumpled textures of the long-forgotten flowers and using the whole space in the picture plane. The only thing of interest that I used in my sketch besides the flowers was some old ribbon. It turned out good, or at least I thought.
And while my picture wasn't mentioned as one of those eye popping drawings, I did get a lot of compliments and Waterman said I did a great job....
So hooray!!! An A!!!!
